Love . . What you’re doing?

No Plugs
Sorry, I got really busy today, make up for it all next week, got lots of updates lined up.

The Mood of Red Sox Nation
Well the Sox destroyed the White Sox todays in a row, and today with Big Papi out of the lineup.  And a big plus, Schilling is looking good and should be back by the beginning of August at the latest.

You are listening too . . .
Even though we have ended my Gen X, Beatles blog reviews, I am playing a couple from their “new” album LoveLove for lack of a better term is a soundtrack album for a Cirque du Soliel show of the same name featuring beatles remasters, remakes, and mashups from George Martin and his son Giles.  The goal of the album according to Giles was:

“What people will be hearing on the album is a new experience, a way of re-living the whole Beatles musical lifespan in a very condensed period.”

They began work of the album after getting the blessings of the remaining Beatles and their kin.  After the album was completed, McCartney and Rinog had nothing but praise for the album.  They were delighted by the mashups, and very excited to hear the music in a clarity they could not acheive in the 60’s, Ringo pointing out things he forgotten they’d buried in the earlier recordings.

The 26 pieces of music on the album have elements from 130 different Beatles songs.  While a complete list has not been disclosed much of it has been picked up by fans and musicians, and is pretty easy to find about the internet.

The piece you are listening too Drive My Car/The Word/What You’re Doing is not only a mashup of those songs, also features a guitar solo from Taxman, and a horns section from Savoy Truffle.

I supposed my only question now is what Charlie Manson thinks of it.

Oh Tammy Faye
She died today, the world of women’s caked on makeup will never be the same.

Harry Potter
GUESS WHAT, HE DIDN’T DIE.  Rats, I really wanted him to die and spoil the plot . . .

Dubya’s Polyps
See there Dubya, what happens when you mess with Malach the Merciless!

MINIMUM WAGE!
WOW! $5.85 and hours, now I can buy that island I always wanted.

Mr. Travolta?  It is time to come out of the closet . . You and Mr. Cruise, it’s OK, it’s 2007 . .  that kind of stuff is more accepted.

Seriously, John, you seem be enjoying the fat lady suit a little too much.  What do you Scientologist buddies think of this?

Man, Cancer is a painful end, since I have watch many of my family members die from cancer, one thing I ask God is “If you are going to take me away, please chose a quick method for me, I don’t want to bear long with horrible pain on my flesh….”.

Ewwww, those polyps are here in Maryland…

  3. 3 Malach the Merciless

The Monkees? Do I even have to do that after doing the Beatles?

Cancer, I too have seem a number of people succumb to it, but I decided long ago that I could handle it if it happened to me.

Did you really just give away the ending? Please tell me you didn’t do that. I mean, Ihaven’t read the books yet, but I hate it when people give away endings.
