2 in 4 years!
Published October 29th, 2007 in .Plugs
Got another new State of Denial tonight, this one is called Secrets, enjoy.
Also Malach put up a rant today at the WoW about the Terry Francona haters. Also the Piper put up some good advice there too . . .
Red Sox 2007 Champions
My how times have changed, I would have never thought I would have seen two championships in my lifetime, nevermind 2 in 4 years. This in not my father’s Red Sox, this in not my Grandfather’s Red Sox, and hell, this isn’t even my Red Sox for most of my life. One of my co-workers has a 8 year old son, and this morning he told him before he left that the Red Sox won the World Series, and his son said, “Again?!?” I think the younger generation is slowly being cured of the mental illness that is Red Sox Nation. I think about my own son and daughter, who have no bad Red Sox Memories his young life.
It will be interesting this offseason, but there is rolling rally tomorrow . . . that can wait.
You are listening too . .
Of course, I need to play Tessie from the Dropkick Murphys. The plus in playing this is the Angry Piper hates this song, and is perhaps Dropkick’s worst song ever. Tessie is originally and early 1900’s Red Sox Fan Theme, Dropkick revived it and it became the 2004 theme also. Dropkick can be seen on a number of videos with Youk and Papelbon doing their dances. Also they will be following the rolling rally on a flatbed, playing the entire route.
Dropkick is a Celtic Punk band and come out of the beer swilling fight club that is the Boston Hardcore scene. I have seen them once, along with The Amazing Royal Crowns and The Ducky Boys. Used to hang in the Boston Hardcore scene, rough stuff. If you ever get a chance, take a dive in.
The Patriots
Ok, John Clayton, Phillip Daniels, Marcus Washington . . you guys do realize this is PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL? You get paid huge money to stop the Patriots from putting 52 points up on you *cough* 4th ranked defense. This is not peewee football where we don’t want to hurt each other’s feelings.
It is funny, the Patriots are officially the Yankees of the NFL. Everyone hates them. They are “evil”. So you got idiots like Mark Schlereth, who by the way played on the 1998 Broncos who blew out just everybody, it was OK for the Colts of the past few years and the 2000 Rams, to blow out the majority of the teams they but not ok for the Patriots. And now all you guys are doing is pissing off Belichick and Pats some more, and making the chip of their shoulder just a bit bigger.
DIPLOMATIC IMMUNITY
MWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Good
Now perhaps we can just rid of the Death Penalty like most of the rest of the democratic world.
Interesting . .
This is a very interesting study, with the fast living 70’s . .
Wow.
I hope I make this list when I am alive.
Lance Bass
Or at least he was hoping.
Hey scientists
The brothas ain’t gonna be happy with this.
Malach’s Quote/Video of the Day
I am Malach and I like Carl

Ohmigawd. The Blackwater stuff is making me crazy. It’s so wrong in so many ways. There’s a rant coming one of days.
I actually watched it when he said that, Just got done playing GH3, lol. But anyhow… Hell, let the Pat’s blow everyone out. It will be all that soothing once they lose in the playoffs.
How is it possible the AngryPiper could put up some “good” advice?
Ugh….talk about the Beast from the East… Whatever do you see in Carl?
Tupac on Broadway?
Dude, way to piss Schlereth off. He’s angry as hell and sent me an op-ed. It’ll be up soon.
Cant believe this Blackwater crap.
As far as The Pats are concerned they play to win. That is what the fans want. This is not pee wee football these are the pros. They take Brady out when they feel they wont loose.
The Death Penalty is rediculous, and I loved Ben Byrd latest story on it.
Rebello:
I thought that you had more taste than that. Ben Byrd totally sucks. Don’t let him fool you. RESIST!!! RESIST!!!
I have to concur with AngryMan. That story sucks. DUE…who the fuck would name a story that. CareBear Chamber was such a better title.
Anyone who likes B.B.’s stories are ferret fuckers.
I’m on the fence on the whole “Pats running up the score” story.
However, I might suggest that Belichick is putting Brady’s fate in is own hands…as there is no way..NO WAY..that a panty-waste pussy shit like Peyton Manning should own the record for anything.
On that note, I say LET Tom Brady shatter the records…and then let Manning try to catch him. So tired of hearing about Manning being the penultimate quarterback over Brady…simply because he (a) does funny commercials and (b) won ONE Superbowl.
Kill ‘em, Bill. Kill ‘em all.
tessie is horrible. the dropkicks in general have started to suck over the last few years even their traditional irish covers are lacking. I’ve seen them about 6 times and they’re fun but they don’t play much of the 1st album which is their best. However, the shipping off to boston song does kick ass. the drummer in my band wanted to do their kiss me I’m shitfaced song and I said, no real irishman with any pride would ever sing that stupid, stereotypical drunken mick piece of shit song. then he wanted to do tessie and I had to threaten to quit the band. I said go find a fucking red sox fan to sing it. he backed off.
The Red Sox area good Christian team, at least for now, yes, yes.
That Blackwater stuff is a mess… this case needs to be reviewed carefully, here too points that are into each behalf.
1) Civils say, “They are suppose to protect us… not kill us” (true) but the statement about “premeditated action” is a little emotional and off. I have lived in the middle of a war too and eveybody is scared, everybody mistrust, betrial, fear, everybody is insecured and ready to protect their own life first as a result; people emotionaly driven by these emotions(soldiers or armed forces)can shoot before thinking because believe it or not sometimes thinking before shotting is too late for yourself.
2) Blackwaters, well no you need to admit you faults nothing is perfect and yes is very hard position you are on, now you chose it and real training is not in your own fields. You bear guns and assume a responsibility to protect and this is what everybody expects.
with the death penalty, Okay I am also against it…
and I am not worried about how much the state will save quiting it, I am not worried about what family victims will say or the killer’s family will have to say. Capital punishment is the pure fact that reveals evil human nature.
“Is easy to kill - very dificult to forgive”
Here a very shocking “statement I heard in the news for the Judge that convicted “Malvo” (one of the sniper attack killing in MD)
“may your God forgive you for you have done, but this Town doesn’t… you will be sentences to…bla bla”
Sad sad, the world keeps turning and people continue more and more calling Good > evil and evil>Good
Phoebe: The Blackwater and the Dark Matter, the man is always after a brotha man
Nibble: They aren’t the Colts
Rag: Well good is all relative.
HTGT: Not sure, he a bit of an inspiration I guess
Sara: I think you’d win a Tony with that one
Angry: Schlereth is a angry panty waist
Eve: Just is the same way, staters play special teams, Brady stays in. I have been reading some Redskins blogs, bunch a wwhiners. Next the league will put in a Patriots Mercy Rule
Dr. John: Ben Byrd is a tool
Angryman: I can tell, you want to do Ben Byrd
Rag: See above comment
Moog: Again, Bellichick has said this. You cannot worry about injuries, they are out of your control
Ted: agree completely
Poop: I can tell, you want to do Curt Schilling.
i fucking love dropkick murphys. i have “shipping up to boston” as my cell phone ringtone.
I wondered if the Blackwater boys were going to play that card. Of course, what else do they have in their defense?
Sox rule. Two friends have stores next to the parade route and were very impressed by the emotion this year. FB and I walked to the 2004 parade on the Cambridge side of the river as they went by in the duck boats. Too bad they didn’t do that this year.
Words of reality:
-Terry Francona is a great manager, in that he can keep this diverse collection of players together and win with them.
-The Sox are a long way from being a “Dynasty”. The early 70s Oakland A’s were, arguably, almost a “dynasty” until Charlie Finlay sold them off. The Big Red Machine were almost a dynasty. The Yankees are the only baseball dynasty I can think of, and we are not anywhere near there yet. BUT- we have the potential to start such a dynasty. Young and old players. Re-sign Schilling and Lowell. Add them to all the new kids, and we are good for four or five Series wins in the next decade. THEN we are a dynasty.
-Dynasties are almost always only seen in the rear-view mirror. Such is not to be hoped for. Sox and Pats fans should live for the moment, which may be a long time coming again. Pats fans need to remember my own 70s “Patsies”, winner of the “Stupor Bowl”. Be grateful for what you have today, and think not of tomorrow, when you may die*.
*quote from oner of my books. N
finish quote- “Never mind”.
Teq: Again, they been around a while, and Malach has seen em
Colonel: Malach can recall in the early 80’s sitting at Schaeffer Stadium in 35 degree rain watching the 0-12 Pats vs. the 0 - 12 and they get their only win of the season, I treasure them now.
