Teq: Again, they been around a while, and Malach has seen em

Colonel: Malach can recall in the early 80's sitting at Schaeffer Stadium in 35 degree rain watching the 0-12 Pats vs. the 0 - 12 and they get their only win of the season, I treasure them now.

Sox rule. Two friends have stores next to the parade route and were very impressed by the emotion this year. FB and I walked to the 2004 parade on the Cambridge side of the river as they went by in the duck boats. Too bad they didn't do that this year.

Words of reality:

-Terry Francona is a great manager, in that he can keep this diverse collection of players together and win with them.

-The Sox are a long way from being a "Dynasty". The early 70s Oakland A's were, arguably, almost a "dynasty" until Charlie Finlay sold them off. The Big Red Machine were almost a dynasty. The Yankees are the only baseball dynasty I can think of, and we are not anywhere near there yet. BUT- we have the potential to start such a dynasty. Young and old players. Re-sign Schilling and Lowell. Add them to all the new kids, and we are good for four or five Series wins in the next decade. THEN we are a dynasty.

-Dynasties are almost always only seen in the rear-view mirror. Such is not to be hoped for. Sox and Pats fans should live for the moment, which may be a long time coming again. Pats fans need to remember my own 70s "Patsies", winner of the "Stupor Bowl". Be grateful for what you have today, and think not of tomorrow, when you may die*.

I wondered if the Blackwater boys were going to play that card. Of course, what else do they have in their defense?

That Blackwater stuff is a mess... this case needs to be reviewed carefully, here too points that are into each behalf.

1) Civils say, "They are suppose to protect us... not kill us" (true) but the statement about "premeditated action" is a little emotional and off. I have lived in the middle of a war too and eveybody is scared, everybody mistrust, betrial, fear, everybody is insecured and ready to protect their own life first as a result; people emotionaly driven by these emotions(soldiers or armed forces)can shoot before thinking because believe it or not sometimes thinking before shotting is too late for yourself.

2) Blackwaters, well no you need to admit you faults nothing is perfect and yes is very hard position you are on, now you chose it and real training is not in your own fields. You bear guns and assume a responsibility to protect and this is what everybody expects.

with the death penalty, Okay I am also against it...
and I am not worried about how much the state will save quiting it, I am not worried about what family victims will say or the killer's family will have to say. Capital punishment is the pure fact that reveals evil human nature.

"Is easy to kill - very dificult to forgive"

Here a very shocking "statement I heard in the news for the Judge that convicted "Malvo" (one of the sniper attack killing in MD)
"may your God forgive you for you have done, but this Town doesn't... you will be sentences to...bla bla"

Sad sad, the world keeps turning and people continue more and more calling Good > evil and evil>Good

tessie is horrible. the dropkicks in general have started to suck over the last few years even their traditional irish covers are lacking. I've seen them about 6 times and they're fun but they don't play much of the 1st album which is their best. However, the shipping off to boston song does kick ass. the drummer in my band wanted to do their kiss me I'm shitfaced song and I said, no real irishman with any pride would ever sing that stupid, stereotypical drunken mick piece of shit song. then he wanted to do tessie and I had to threaten to quit the band. I said go find a fucking red sox fan to sing it. he backed off.

I'm on the fence on the whole "Pats running up the score" story.

However, I might suggest that Belichick is putting Brady's fate in is own hands...as there is no way..NO WAY..that a panty-waste pussy shit like Peyton Manning should own the record for anything.

On that note, I say LET Tom Brady shatter the records...and then let Manning try to catch him. So tired of hearing about Manning being the penultimate quarterback over Brady...simply because he (a) does funny commercials and (b) won ONE Superbowl.

Kill 'em, Bill. Kill 'em all.
