What did Malach tell you?
On Thursday Malach said:

Jaguars at Patriots:  A lot of people are picking the Jags to shock the world.  They won’t.  It will be close the first half, but when all is said and done, Pats 35 Jags 14.  The Jags big bad defense is not as good as it has been in past years, and their offense can not put up the kind of point against the Pats 4th ranked defense to keep up.  For the Jags to win, they will have to win the turnover battle, score on special teams, score on defense, and limit the Pats to 20 points.  Even if they still do that, they still might lose.

Seattle at Green Bay:  Green Bay should win the game, and I don’t think Seattle has any chance in this game unless Brett Favre reverts to the Brett Favre of 1996.  Green Bay 24 Seattle 17.

See, Malach is the man, though I was off the Green Bay score a bit.  As for the Pats, man do they look awesome.  The Jacksonville team is going to be good for a years coming.  David Garrard; Malach has been a fan of his for three years now, and been yelling at the Jags to replace Leftwich (Who I affectionately call, The Black Drew Bledsoe) with him for the past few years.  Get him some playmaking receivers . . .  And man, did you see Randy Moss turn into a blocking machine?

Now, take my advice for tomorrow, oh and Dad sent this email this morning:

It is 1.5 hrs and the real games begin. Matt has already posted his picks. Chris I am waiting on yours. Here are mine. Game 1 Seahawks @ Packers. It is snowing in Green Bay. That should be enough for # 4 to start packing his bags. Not to go back to Louisiana. He is headed for Dallas. Game 2 Giants @Cowboys. I guess if Favre is going to Dallas that means the Cowboys will be handling the Giants. Should be no problem if T O makes it on the field. In spite of Eli’s last two outings, I don’t see him standing up to the all the pressure Dallas will  put on him. If there is a game that I’d like to see an upset in this is the one but it ain’t going to happen. Game 3 Chargers @ Colts. It won’t be snowing in the dome but there is a better chance that happens than San Diego upsetting Indy. No Gates no chance for the Chargers. It would be sweet if the Chargers would win.Then we would get the chance to stick it to L T and shut him up for good. Game 4 Jags @ Pats.

I don’t have a clue as to the final score, but I do know that there is absolutely no way the Pats lose this one. Pats have the capability of scoring two tds per quarter. That possibility precludes any chance that the Jags can win. Give Taylor 125 yds and 2 tds. Give Jones-Drew 125 yds and 2 tds. The Jags still should lose by 24 pts. That would push the Pats to play up to there potential and if pushed to perform at their very best they will. I believe it impossible for the Jags to score 4 rushing tds. I believe it very well within the realm of reason that the Pats score 4 to 5 tds before the fourth quarter begins. If I believe those two things to be true than the Pats must win. I believe those to two things.

Again, you seen the genetic connection.  You know what is really scary about this team, they will play you anyway you want to play them and still beat you.
