The Weather!
We are having a nasty (no kitty your not going outside) crazy storm out there right now with huge downpours and almost hurricane force winds (shaddup kitty). There some talk of possible power outages through the night as said storm continues, so I am trying to get this up quickly (good cat got the message and left, I mean she was out there all day). I was out about a hour or so ago, and went to get gas. WOW. I haven’t seen a storm like this since Hurricane Bob is the early 90′s. I swore the canopy at the gas station I was at was gonna blow away!

You guys over in the eastern part of the state always get the bad wins- all we got here was about 6 inches of rain. Of course we have the Connecticut River, which is rising higher and higher every day between the rain and all the snow melt. They were concerned about the berms which keep it from venturing into town last spring and never did do anything about them, so any day now i may be blogging from the roof…

We had the same high wind and torrential rain in Virginia. It was scary!
Weather forecast today for Santa Cruz, California, is high 72° with a light breeze. Lows this evening, 48°, partly cloudy.
Poor, poor Malach. You should grab the wife and take a trip to California. It’s beautiful here. Although, since I live in the mountainy area, if we even get a strong gust of wind, we lose power for at least a day. In January when we had those big storms in Northern Cali, our house (and whole area) lost power for a whole week. 7 days is a long time to have no damn electricity.
I hope you didn’t lose power, Malach. Hang in there!
So let me get this straight. Kid Intense gets puked on by a flying mailbox and is not stuck in a plastic box. Ohhh yeah baby…this just sucks more and more each day. I never dreamt of it getting anymore sucksville, but yup, it is the whole town of sucksville now.
We had the same storm yesterday. But it would come and go with bits of sun in between and then dark as hell, hail and more down pours. (The hail and wind scared me…usually a good indicator of prime tornado conditions.) Glad everyone is ok…although it would have been nice if Kid Intense stopped fucking with the flying mailbox and did something about the weather with his sucksville powers. Honestly! Is that asking to much?

We hav been getting weather warnings all week for a storm here tomorrow – I am planning to spend the day inside (other than taking the kids to and from school).

SCG: It is 48 right now. Actually I love New England and the change in weather we go from 90+ with 90% humidity in the summer to 20′s and snow in the winter. Its fun

Funny thing about Wyoming… Obama detractors are always saying he only appeals to blacks and latte-drinking limousine liberals. Good luck finding a black person, a limousine OR a latte in Wyoming!
