Today we have a brand new Bizzarro Kid Intense. Chapter Two Page 8?. This is the best one of the bunch and made me pee myself.
Also Malach is supporting another couple of fund raisers. Malach is very involved with Autism, he works with a few people with Autism, mostly kids; I have had several Art Students who were Autistic; I run a number of websites that deal Autism Services; and I have a sister-in-law who is Autistic.
Malach is helping out a friend with a fundraiser having to do with Autism and Autism Services. Jonathan and his Jonathan’s World team, raising money for the Autism Society of Deleware and their upcoming walk-a-thon. I have also put his widget in my sidebar for easy access.
As for Autism, the rates of incidence for this have gone crazy then past 10 years, around 1 in 150 children now are being diagnosed. It is scary to think of these kids, and our state disability systems, or lack there of. What is going to happen to these people when they are adults? I know from personal experience it will be a crisis here in MA in about 10 years.

- Just Me writes: Dear Malach, If the average person’s IQ is 100, then what does it mean to have an IQ of 120+? Also, do you know what DaVinci’s IQ was? Well it high IQ, but not nessecarily genius level. I don’t really deal with anyone like that in my job, so I am not sure what the levels equate too. I do know my IQ is a 148. I took a professional test a few years ago, from out counseling director for kicks. DaVinci. They did not have IQ testing back then, but I would assume it would be similar to someone like a Einstein or Picasso. 150+

Is there much ’stuff’ in the media about any possible link between autism (and the huge increase of it) and vaccinations (specifically the MMR) over there in the US? There was a huge burst of media attention here in years gone by, but I’ve seen nothing ‘new’ for some time.
My son has a friend with Autism - he’s sweet boy, and comes to play here quite regularly. I know not many others will invite him over though - which is sad.
We had an Easter Egg hunt too - took us longer to hide the damn things than it did for the kids to find them!

Also, a 120 IQ at what age JM? In 8th grade, that’s genius. At our age it’s high average to smart.
