Song is obviously about safe sex, which in the late 80’s early 90’s was a big thing with HIV and AIDS especially among the African American population. Some pretty amazing guitar work from Vernon Reid in this one.

Superman now remembers how he became a hero because of the legion of superheroes. Also, Batman will be killed off or something. Even the possible return of Barry Allen who was the flash. I think the DC universe is going back to the silver age roots, don’t you think? One of the things I detest about DC is theses Crisis series, and the screwing around they do with these heroes to catch them up to the modern day, and not make them age. They should of just done what Marvel did with the sliding time scale. Just looks at a Wiki article on a longtime DC Hero, ie Superman to see how screwed up his back story is. You need a constantly updating encyclopedia just to keep up with this stuff.

Okay, I watched the video for about as long as I could take it, which wasn’t for the full minute.
Mike: Did it just make you laugh, my god, what is up with that woman?
I think David Tennant hams it up fairly well, although I slightly preferred the Christopher Eccleston version of hamming it up for Dr Who. I though the Dr/Rose relationship worked extremely well between Eccleston and Billie Piper. I agree that Tom Baker was fabulous, as was Jon Pertwee.

I loved Tom Baker as Dr. Who…that was the only time I watched his series. I have had my grandmother knit me scarf that was long like his. Think I still have that sucker too. He also played in one of my favorite movies as a kid, The Golden Voyage of Sinbad (1974.) I think we went to the drive-in to see it. Needless to say, drive in’s do not exist around here anymore.
