A meme challenge from Sara Sue
So, Sara Sue came up with this Meme.  She calls it “Show Me Yours - I’ll Show You Mine”.  The Meme is pretty simple.  Take a picture of your local library, post it to your blog, and say something about it.  Well, well, Malach wins round, you see, Fairhaven has the world famous . . .

Instead of boring you with further picture, you can go to their website, which by the way is really crappy, contact Malach about a good one.  Why is it so cool?  Might be the only library in the country with a MySpace account.  I also bet it is the only library in the country with Samurai Swords on display too.

Well, I said their website sucks, no good pics, gonna have to go take some.  The Library, like so many of the towns awesome buildings were built with love from Henry Huttleston Rogers.  It was named after his youngest daughter, Millicent who died at 17.  Rogers also funded The Town Hall and the Unitarian Church both across the street from the library.  I grew up on that block, parents still live there, only about a 1/2 mile from where I live now.  Also he funded Fairhaven High School, The Tabitha Inn which is now a nursing home, and Rogers School among others.

Since there aren’t many good pics, I will go take some and post them, especially of the interior of the Library.  Also really cool, and right next to my house is Riverside Cemetary, which I need to take some pics of the AWESOME crypts there.

A-Rod is cheating on his wife with Madonna?  Maybe in 1992. . but now?  I mean I can understand Cynthia Rod going for Lenny Kravitz, that is a COOL dude . . .  I mean Madonna?  Who has she slept with . .  Dennis Rodman, Jose Canseco, Warren Beatty, Shaun Penn, Basquiat (big time drug user), Tony Ward (Bi Sexual porn star), Vanilla Ice, and several flings, man there is whole petri dish of stuff floating around there that would scare me right off.
