Of course a new 8 1/2 by Eleven as Lucas doesn’t celebrate American holidays.
Happy Rada-pendence Day!
Radda radda, radda, rad radda.
My library can kick you library’s ass!
So, I went around town today to take some cool photos of the awesome structures Henry Huttleston Rogers built for the town, I am going to post pics and stories for the next few weekends. Today I also went to Riverside Cemetery took some pics. Here they are:

Now you may notice this Masoleum has the Roger’s name on it, according to Wikipedia it is modelled after the Temple of Athena, and Henry, his first wife, and several family members are interred there. In addition there is this crazy huge crypt that I am sure my brother will enjoy because of the Mason symbols on it.

That of course is the Delano crypt, and is of course of the famous Delano family, FDR actually spent some of his childhood in Fairhaven, along with many of the turn of the century rich and famous, like Mark Twain. In fact, across the street from my parents house are the remains of the Delano Estate, which was split up into 5 or so houses in the 1920’s.
There are other cool graves, I will post some below:

This is old one, not sure with the Atkins/Adams are . . will check into it. Also, there is this one:

Now the Downey and Sauders families are more modern money families in the area. As you can see Riverside is really cool. Wooden, peaceful, tons of wildlife . . . nice place to walk. If I am buried, I want to be buried there.
Now for some more of the Millicent Library. It was closed when I got there, so in interior shots, but here are some close up of some of the artisanry of the Library:

Yep, built in 1891. I will try to get some inside pics in the next few days.
Dear Malach
- Mother Hen writes: Dear Malach, That was the library? It looks so… old, must be very suitable to house all the old books
Yes Ma’am, built in 1891. When I get interior shots, you will be amazed at all the Asian stuff in there. John Manjiro baby! We even have an annual festival in his honor. There are several Daishō, tapestries, art, and writings in there, including some Mark Twain and Frederic Douglass originals. It is part museum, there is some really cool stuff in there. - Colonel Colonel writes: Dear Malach, if Amy Winehouse did a version of that song, would the world end? Which song? Elvis is Dead? She might do a interesting version of that since she got sort of an Elvis voice. My Humps? Can’t see that, she got a real lack of humps.
The Mood of Red Sox Nation
I never thought I would be saying this, but Thank God for a 4 game series vs. the Yankees! And man, you got to check out that Youkilis triple.
Ands just in time for Rada-pedence Day!
Jesse Helms dies. How interesting that a man all for inequality and segregation dies on Independence Day! I wonder what he thought of a Barack Presidency?
Malach’s Video of the Day!
A nice old Rada-pendence Day, Sheik Yerbouti!
I am Malach, and I went for the cheap pop there

Obama getting the nomination probably killed him off.
Yeah, I meant the hump song. I wouldn’t get near her humps without a full set of shots first. I bet Jesse was just holding on for the 4th. A grandstander to the end.
Asian stuff in that library?
Ah that’s so sad, as all the Asian stuff should belong to Asia :()
The cemetery is nice. Btw, your county is one of the best counties in the nation to raise a family if I’m not wrong. It was on Yahoo.
Schnitzel rada radda raaaaaaadaaaa 2008!
(Translation: Schnitzel for president in 2008! P.S. I found out that the actor who voices Schnitzel - John Di Maggio, also did Bender from “Futurama”.)
Did Zombies get you while you were at the cemetery?
Angry: I agree
Colonel: Complete agree, scary mental pic
Mother Hen: I love it
HTGT: Now you got to get into some FLAPJACK
Angryginge!: Nope
I saw a clip where Helms was saying, “if kids want to write dirty words on our walls, let them pay for their own crayons.” Swear to god it was on t.v. today
Here’s the really stupid part. I thought Jesse Helms was already dead. Jesus, I need to get a life.
