We got the new one from Ben Byrd today, it is called Newsworthy, and rather interesting read. I am going to reread it at work tomorrow.

Forgot to update you all on our game last night. Won again, 23 – 5 , we are now 19 – 5, and playing the Bulldogs, Thursday for sole possession of first place. As for Malach, excellent pitching night, struck out two, and went 3 – 5 at the plate.

- Mike writes: Dear Malach, But the really big question is, did the Billy Mays putty work? I have wondered about that stuff since I first saw it advertised. So far so good. I had a leak in a drainage pipe that both my dishwasher and Central Air drainage go into. What was going on was that the Central Air line was shorter that the dishwasher line, so, they welded an extension to the pipe on. The weld cracked I guess, and the central air drain leaked something fierce out of it, and I did not notice for a few days until my cellar floor was soaked. So, I removed the pipe, broke up the weld, cleaned the pipe, and then surrouned the connection with Mighty Putty (extension was smaller than main pipe it fit inside, probably another reason it cracked. It dried solid, and tougher than the pipes it is around, was easy to use, and tested it today with the dishwasher, no leak. I tried the AC to for a couple hours, no leak. I still have three tubes of the stuff, I might try and pull trees down with it. It would probably work really well gumming up someone lock. Trick or Treat.

So, I had a 15′ pine tree fall into my yard today. Little windy, but it was a young tree and kind of surprised me. The roots for some reason rotting out. So me and 6 year old son went to town on it, and chopped it up in to some nice kindling and firewood. Gonna have dry out in my wood shed a while, but whatever, still got plenty more trees. RIP little conifer.

Burning crosses on student’s arms is assault and the teacher should be prosecuted. I cant stand it when my daughters draw on themselves nevermind flames.
What about the Cubs and Harden? And Dempster w/win 10 last night? I’m pretty excited about this team, the pitching is a lot better top to bottom than last year and our pen is pretty solid. Still not complete yet, but Harden could do a lot to help.

And I forgot to mention the other pitcher we got in the deal. Chad Gaudin is a pretty good player and can sub in as a reliever or as a starter. I think he might get some extended set-up work as Marmol has been inconsistent lately.
