Dear Malach
You what else is funny?  I got kind of another version of Dear Malach . . . the unofficial Dear Malach Slow Pitch Softball Advice.  Because of this video.  I get about 10 emails a week with questions about softball, and not just pitching, I got one guy who emails me once a month about hitting, and I guess, I taught his how to hit opposite field via email.  Crazy.  There are also a lot of forum discussion about this.  I follow the links back, and then spy, occasionally register and join in.

• Malicious Intent writes: Dear Malach, Dude, why didn’t you just PDF the document that CSS wanted up there and just link to it?  Because My Dear, there is a deal that was put together between the Church and the FBI after the whole Sex Abuse Cases vs. the Church came out.  This deal created these Youth Protection Offices in all the Catholic Charities.  These Offices serve a two fold purpose.  The first is to be a liaison between the Church and abuse victims from the past.  The second is to be a current reporting system for present and future abuse.  The US office, a rep from the FBI sits on their board as part of the deal, and locally, reps from the State Police, and local Child Abuse experts sit on them.  Also part of the deal is structure of websites.  The Office for Child Protection has to be easily navigable, and has to have the Diocese Policies and Procedure spelled out on a web page to make it the most accessible and searchable.  There is also a .pdf link, but that cannot be a the focus of the page.  I have already heard from the US Bishop’s Catholic Conference telling me how much they love the ease of navigability of the page.  Honestly, knowing the amount of priest I know, it is kind of sad what happened.  Yes, the Church did bring 99% of it on itself, but it also hurt a number of good religious people.

A lot of people in these parts of are sick of the whole Manny being Manny crap we put up with all year, this year maybe the worst. Personally, I don’t think there are picking up his option anyway, but I am sure they would want to try and get something for him . . . Hell, what I am saying, get rid of his, he is the Zodiac Killer.
