The Pelham case is very, very sad. Pelham is just a couple of towns over, I once lived just a few feet from the town line actually, and it’s very hard to understand what was going through everyone’s minds. The police chief who just got indicted is a gun-safety lecturer, for crying out loud. Hate to say it, but I place most of the blame on the dad. He’s a doctor in charge of the emergency room at a hospital in Connecticut, for crying out loud, you ‘d think he’d have more sense than to hand his 7-year old an uzi. His first reaction after it happened was complete puzzlement, he couldn’t understand it, because he had been having the child shoot pistols and rifles since he was 5… I’m just not sure what kind of thought process that is.
I wonder why Bush isn’t going back to Crawford.
