Tonight there is a new 8 1/2 by Eleven.
Why?
Why is it that no one comments on my blog regularly anymore except a few folk? I was doing close to 20 comments a day a year ago, now it is like 5 – 8. What is even weirder, is the stats for this blog have doubled since last year, close to 800 unique views a day on the blog, but 3 comments? Not sure why. Well, that is not nessecarily true, you see, I had 52 spam comments on last night post, thanks to Askimet for catching them.
I mean, I don’t want to have to start doing what some of my blog buddies do, post pics of sexy ladies and beekcakes? Maybe I am not sparking debate like I used to, or now that Obama has won, the blog world is less active.
Our crazy New England Weather
So Sunday, as I stated then, we got our first snow, about 2″ and then the next couple of days got really cold, 8 degrees in the morning, and 12 – 15 by mid afternoon. Yesterday, the high got up to about 21, and it was windy. Well this morning is broke freezing and by mid afternoon, it was round 45. Right now it is 57. Tomorrow it is supposed to be in the 60′s and rain, then by the eveing go back below freezng and dump a little more snow on us. Gotta love late Fall New England Weather.
The Auto Industry Bailout
Hey Detriot, you know why most of us are against this? A few reasons. We have bailed you out in the past for one, and you have not given us what we want: cars with better mileage, better quality, and work on alternative fuels. Look at your foriegn competition, you had to change drastically back in the mid 80′s when Toyota and Honda began offering cheap, fuel efficient, quality cars.
I know so many people who have bought Toyota, Honda, Volkwagen, Hyundai, and won’t go back to Ford, GM, Chrysler, etc. It took you too long to put the quality in the vehicles, and by the time you did, Honda and Toyota passed you buy. How many stories are there out there with Toyota Camrys with 300,000 miles and still running. Detriot basically makes cars to last as long as your 5 year loan, then you have to buy another one. They still can’t compete price wise with foriegn made cars, cars that are still higher quality and higher mileage. Seriously, what do you expect?
Malach Video of the Day
I am Malach and the Terminator Timeline is almost as cool as the Marvel Comics one.

Christian Bale? Terminator? How did I miss this?
And I think personal blogging in on the wane, dear Malach.
I still love you
Actually comments are down across the board. I am getting about a third of what I was getting a year ago. Fewer people blogging regularly (you are one of the last ones still posting daily) and even fewer commenting. There was an article a few months back on line somewhere talking about how blogging is dying. I believe it.
One thing for sure though, it’s no fun when no one comments. Can’t imagine those that have done it for so long without any feedback.
Oh, and regarding the bailout. I talked about that sometime ago. The real issue here has little to do with the auto companies (in my opinion). If the auto companies go under, conservative estimates say that over 3 million will be out of work over night. I am not sure if that includes all of the small shops, restaurants, gas stations, and bars that will also go under or not, but the point is, if you add 3 million more to the unemployment rolls, you’re up over 10% unemployment. That means we are in a depression. Our economy is in no shape to withstand that right now.
The auto companies don’t deserve to be bailed out, that is for sure, but they really are somewhat vital to our economy. I mean what are we going to do if we ever get into another really big war with someone? Ask China to make our tanks? We’ve already put ourselves in a bad spot by allowing the steel industry to essentially die, I just don’t think letting the car industry go under would be a very wise thing to do.
I am just been busy, but when I have stopped, I haven’t found anything to comment on lol
The weather throughout the entire world is going crazy.
For the first time, I had to turn on AC in December, in Oregon.
What the world has come to?
I no longer feel panic now though.
WOW! 22 new Spam Comments, where did they come from?
HTGT: Possibly, but I am still at it
Dr. John: unfortunately
Mike: But still, we the American people are sick of bailout companies that don’t work and move into the future when it is staring them in the face.
Toyi: Again, sorry to bore you, I will have some thing gay marriage tonight
Mother: AC in Dec in Oregon? It is like 60 right now and pouring.
I love you, Malach. Isn’t it kinda ironic that you asked why no one was commeting and then you started talking about the weather in New England. Who comments about weather? Maybe 80 year old farmers? Just so you know, our weather is way more interesting in the midwest (At least to me it is.)
Star: It is still around 40 right now, will probably be 20 tomorrow and snowing.
We have a wind chill factor of below 20 and it was 57 yesterday afternoon. It’s so exciting, I wish you were here.
I commented.
