There is a new 8 1/2 by Eleven. You did not know Lucas did Political Cartoons did ya?
Todays blog
I don’t know how long this blog will be, I had strep throat and pink eye and a bad cold all week, and am really tired. We will see how long I last.
Dear Malach
- Lucas asks: Dear Malach, You really dig the Watchmen thing, huh? You’ve posted pretty much every trailer. My brother Lucas, Watchmen is the greatest comic ever made, and one of the greatest pieces of fiction of the past 30 years. It is a must read, and Malach is pround that he is getting some of the kids to read it, who also love it now. Like the Lord of the Rings series, I have been waiting for a long time for some to put this to film and do it right, and Snyder seems to have done that. I cannot wait.
- Hungry Mom asks: Dear Malach, Why do men wear ties and women wear skirts? Well, that is one of the greatest mysteries of the Universe, and Malach is not allowed to reveal it, lest your human minds boil inside your skull. When you die though, your spirit animal reveals this first thing.
- Malicious Intent asks: lost my car keys and my cell phone. Which I cannot find by calling it, I left it on vibrate for work. Dear Malach, can you make my missing items reappear? I am sorry, but you must first appease the couch cushion gods by placing two cracked eggs on your head and slamming your face repeatedly with a iron frying pan, and fliming it for YouTube and posting the link here . . . Maybe then they will allow me to tell you.
- Angryman asks: Dear Malach, So why is it you won’t comment on my Tony Dungy post? Well you see, being a Patriots fan, I think Dungy is overrated and gets too much credit as a nice guy, so I choose not to knock the man down. And since you are back at Unpaid Sports Guys, I need to get back to ROYTERS.
5 Additions
I took this puppy from Hungry Mother basically list 5 of your additions, well here it goes
- Pepsi: I love Pepsi, I usually have a 24 pack in my fridge, though I don’t overdrink, usually having at most 3 in a day.
- Video Games: Though I don’t have to play them every day, when I start one, I will obsessively play it to the finish
- Biting my nails: I can’t quit you! And I’ve tried!
- Games: I love board games and pen and paper role playing games, and I will get the urge to just have to play them sometimes.
- Saltines: Not as bad as Pepsi, and there are some I prefer over others, namely Zesta and Krispy.
Yeah, I got problems.
Mary
Mary’s family finally put her obituary up, while that pic it probaly 20 years old, that is Mary through and through.
At least this guy wasn’t a client of mine.
WOW, you need to read this. Yeah, and the picture of Gary Gomes there, yeah he looks a little tapped. Even worse, Independent street is right behind my workplace.

REGARDING ADDICTIONS:
1) Soda is SO bad for you. Not to be a poopsicle, but seriously: Phosphoric Acid, Sugar (Soft drink manufacturers are the largest single user of refined sugar in the United States) and if you do diet, Aspartame (yay! epilepsy). One a day, I can see. I mean, I drink that much and I know it’s awful but three!
2) I wish Video Games were still in my life.
3) Nail biting is just gross.
4) Yay Scrabble! and chess! And Risk. No to elves and other such games with ten sided dice.
5) Maybe it is just Canada, but I have never heard of Zesta and Krispy. An internet search revealed them to be crackers. What’s your favourite topping? Or just plain crackers!?
Unlike our Canadian friends, the crackers are well-known and well-loved here in the frozen chosen. Nail biting is very efficient, in my opinion. Sorry to see that I’ll have to wait a while to find out about ties and skirts.
I used to bit my nails – stopped it the day I left school for good, so I guess it was a nervous thing? Now, I cannot bear to hear the kids biting their nails … eeewwwwww. Do you think yours is a nervous habit?
Good to know someone else likes board games – they rock! We have loads of them.
I don’t bite my nails anymore, because I have now worked my way down to my finger bones. Easy fix there. No nails, no problem.
You got a quick fix for a bum neck or a neurosurgeon with a Godlike complex? If #2 requires violence, I am all for it.
Lucas: Soda, only vide I have, and I only generally have 2 per day, the rest of the time I drink tea, water, or OJ. I have a Wii, I got the kids, it’s fun. I have tried everthing for the nail biting and have actually gone as long as 2 months trying, but no luck any suggestions? I love RPG’s and board games like Arkham Horror, Tannhauser, Axis and Allies, Descent. Both are by Keebler, as for toppings, I usually pefer plain, but will do cheese every so often.
Hungry Mom: It does keep my fingernails trimmed and clean, but short
Kitty: Possibly, I am not really a nervous person though.
MI: HMMM, interesting idea
