No Plugs

You are listening too . . .
Off of one of The Cure’s best albums, Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me, and one of the greatest love songs of all time (The Cure actually have two of them) at least to my generation, Just Like Heaven.  This of course can go out to my wife, who I celebrated out 11th anniversary with last night, hence no blog.  BTW, this was our wedding song, another classic love song of Gen X.

Just Like Heaven Inspired this painting by Malach about his wife and their early relationship:

Kate I

At the time of this painting, the wife and I worked in the same place, and I was traveling around New England as their “fix the problems of our bad stores” manager (sound akin to what I do now).  The piece of writing glued to the canvas is the lyrics of this song, I sent to her in a long fax.

MMMM – Lobster
So, I have to send a plug out to Kyler’s Seafood.  One of the nicest parts about living in the New Bedford MA area, is the New Bedford is the #1 fishing seaport in the US, and we got tons of fresh and cheap seafood daily.  I picked up three 1 1/2 lb lobsters, and a full pound of haddock for ust over $20.  They wus real good.  As you can see by some of their weekly specials, they are cheap, cheap, cheap.  The same lobsters in a local supermarket go for double the price.

Malach’s Video of the Day

I am Malach, and perhaps that was the greatest remake ever?

Mazel Tov! Beautiful painting. Beautiful song too. A friend gave it to me on a mix-tape in perhaps eighth grade.
