Dear Malach

• Lucas asks, Dear Malach, Eye-straining? In what sense?  Lucas is referring to the latest episode of 8 1/2 by Eleven which he created, writes, illustrates, and now colors.  I am referring to strip #844 which has Nillian sitting in a chair in the first panel.  Being an artist and a color fanatic, certain things make my eyes bounce.  They grey blue of the shirt bounce off the brown of the chair, and the pattern on each set each other off.  I LOVE IT!
• ParadOx asks: Dear Malach, Grrrrooooan at Tiger joke. I noticed you mentioned a male abuse victim. Is that somewhat common? Otherwise… Silver beeelllllssss!!!  Male victims of Domestic Violence are much more common than a lot of people realize, and this whole Tiger thing has a lot of the classic earmarks of an abusive relationship.  Imagine if Tiger was female and this happened, what the world would be saying (I am not referring to the adultery, just the who “accident).  I work with two DV Males, and there are a lot more that I am trying to get to work with me.  Male pride alot of time gets in the way of reporting it.  A lot of time what happens is the woman is abusive, but the Male just takes it, can’t hit a female back (which is not a solution by the way, either male-female or female - male).

Amanda Knox
Not sure who has been following, but this a very strange case, and by far, Malach doesn’t think it is over.  I have not formed a guilty or innocent opinion yet, but I do know, it would be really hard to get a conviction at least on her in the US.  The Italian jury system is weird at least to us here.  They allow conjecture, opinion, and how someone protrays themselves in court as evidence.  Hey Angry Piper, when she gets out, your will only be 64 . .  what do you think?

The Weather
So, her in New England yesterday, in december, it was 71 F degrees (which is basically 22 C).  That right, like a day in May.  In the morning we had this hurricane whip through with 2 inches of rain and 60MPH winds, but it was warm in the morning.

Right now, the next day, it is down to 41 F (5 C), it is supposed to get cold tonight, well actually seasonable for this time of year, stay in the low 40’s tomorrow and then snow . . . yay our first snow!
