Telephone Bill off of the 1980 album Love Jones. The past couple albums before this, Watson got into some Disco, Funk, like combining Parliament with big disco like the Gap Band like so:
This is 1977, as you see this lead into Love Jones, which is all out funk album, featuring the song Telephone Bill. Now Telephone Bill is pretty interesting. Johnny was always one to be a little ahead of the curve with music, and he puts out tis seminal rap/hip hop song. Love this song.
