So, [adult swim} has this awesome new show called Superjail (I am talking to your Dr. Murk).  It is brought to you by the same people who did MTV’s short lived but brilliant Wonder Showzen.  I will post a clip for my video of the day, but what is the best way to describe it? Yellow Submarine meet Charlie and the Chocolate factory set in a pyschedelic ultre violent prison run by a insane prison warden, and that doesn’t even do it justice.

They have given up.  GIven up on McCain, and now, after seeing Sarah Palin for awhile given up on her.  One this morning: “Yeah, Palin was a mistake, Barack gonna win, at least OJ is going to jail”.

A couple of addendums: I did my blog trolling this evening, and prayers and thoughts are needed for both Malicious Intent (I regret now not getting your call) who is having some type crisis with her oldest child who is autistic; and Angryman and C. Rag who has their baby about 4.5 weeks premature today.  We are all with you.

Second, Part 3 of Zangief’s Blog is up.  Extremely funny this one is called Visiting Malach’s Art Studio.  It’s all true.

Third there is a new, but admittedly lame 8 1/2 by Eleven.

A rather underrated band from Chicago, Dovetail Joint.  This one is called Beautiful.  They had a pretty decent hit in 1999 called Level on the Inside.  They defintely have the Chicago Sound going, a little Urge Overkill, Liz Phair, and Smashing Pumpkins.

WTF NStar
So our local Power Company is NStar.  Both electricity and natural gas, no other choice locally.  Because of my job, I know the tricks and ins and outs with NStar.  So, I know my bill was a little behind, considering all we went through this year with the house, and of course the current economic crisis.  So this week, NStar has left “We Need To Speak With You About Your Bill” things on my door.  So, knowing NStar like I do, I know I could put 20% down by law, and they would have to take that.  Also, they are supposed to give you 10 days notice before shut off. 

So of course I am think wow, I must owe them like $1000.  Thinking of all my clients, yeah that is about what they owe.  So, I figured today I would go online and pay the 20% and shut them up.  You know what I owed them?  $160 for electric and $8 for gas . . .  WTF NStar?  You had me all worked up for less that $200 owed?  Then I remembered something .  .. the moritorium begins Nov 10th.  The moritiorium is a period of time by law NStar is not allowed to shut your utilities off no matter what you owe (MA Law).  Usually lasts from Nov to April.  Oh and I paid it.

In addition NStar has started this new NStar Green program.  You can choose to have 50 – 100% of you electricity come from a wind farm in NY, lessening the impact you have on the environment.  So, you can do this, but you need to pay and extra 1.396 cents per KWH to go green with NStar? WTF NStar?  You gotta be rich to be green . . . I would love solar panels on the house, but I don’t got $30K to do it with too.

Thanks to M & T for rewriting my car loan.  I gave the whole sob story, and they extended the loan 1 year and knocked $140 a month off the loan.  Now, If I can get the $170 of PMI off this new mortgage I will be golden.

Didn’t watch it, but according to pundits, Biden won, and Palin did better than expected.  Spoke with Dr. Murk today.  He’s given up.  He refusing to vote.
